| WORK EXPERIENCE: | Captain Michael has been involved in yachting for over 28 years. As a teenager, he raced 2-man dinghies in the Lake District igniting his love for sailing. After leaving school he went on to become a Electronics Engineer before pursuing his passion for the water and working as a professional diver in the Middle East where he became a PADI IDC Staff Instructor. Following SCUBA diving and continuing to teach, he worked for several years as a Yacht Master Instructor in the UK and overseas as a school Principal before turning to Super Yachting where he has spent the last 23 years. Michael is an active fellow of the Nautical Institute promoting safety and education in the maritime industry. |
